Hundreds of UDA party supporters have flocked in Karatina town awaiting for deputy president William Ruto arrival. The Kenya Kwanza brigade will make its first rally in Karatina town then head to Nyeri Town before terminating at Giakanja.
Nyeri leaders allied to UDA party are on the ground ready to receive deputy president William Ruto and his running mate legislator Rigathi Gachagua.
Konyu member of county assembly Eric Mwangi Wamumbi who was yesterday given UDA party ticket to vie for Mathira parliamentary seat is leading the team. The one term MCA will be seeking to succeed Rigathi Gachagua who dropped his bid to deputize DP Ruto.
" Awaiting the arrival of the 5th William Ruto in Mathira with fellow UDA aspirants- super senator Wahome Wamatinga and incoming Mathira MP Eric Mwangi Wamumbi" wrote Kieni UDA parliamentary aspirant Alex Kamau on his official Facebook page.
Other leaders on the ground includes; Nyeri UDA senatorial candidate Wahome Wamatinga and Kieni UDA parliamentary aspirant Alex Wachira alias Wa- Total.
ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Chama Cha Kazi party leader Moses Kuria, national assembly speaker Justin Muturi, Maendeleo Chapchap party leader Alfred Mutua and Nyeri governor Mutahi Kahiga are expected to attend the rallies.
