Ruto Beats Raila And Regions Where Ruto Is Popular According To Latest Opinion Poll

Several opinion polls have attempted to forecast the outcome of the August 9 general elections, with some putting Deputy President William Ruto ahead with a slim margin, while others have Raila Odinga, the leader of the ODM, in the lead.

Given the recent fluctuations in Kenya's political scene, it is undeniably difficult to forecast a political struggle.

Deputy President William Ruto is running for President on the Kenya Kwanza Alliance's UDA Party ticket, while Raila Odinga is running on the Azimio La Umoja ticket.

However, William Ruto appears to have a greater political advantage against Mr. Odinga ahead of the August polls, given that he is currently the leading candidate in the country's two major voting blocs.

ent opinion surveys conducted by Mizani Africa and TIFA, Ruto is the most popular candidate in Central Kenya (Mt. Kenya) and the broader Rift Valley as compared to compared to Raila Odinga who's popular in Nyanza, Western Kenya.
