Kenya Kwanza Receives A New Member From Azimio

Many politicians have abandoned the Azimio team in just a few days. Previously, the ANC's Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula were appointed as OKA officials. Later, Amason Kingi of the PAA and Alfred Mutua of the Development Chap Chap were seen abandoning the Kenya Kwanza coalition.

The Azimio la Umoja alliance lost a member today when he joined the Kenya Kwanza Alliance. Dr Erick Korir Kipkoech, vice-president of Nakuru County, is said to have left the Jubilee party. While the reasons are unknown, Internet users speculate that his governor-general may have dismissed him in favor of another candidate. On Monday, Governor Lee Kinyanjui announced his candidacy and fired his deputy.

"I have made a decision after much deliberation with various stakeholders."He decided to leave Jubilee and join the Kenya Kwanza party, indicating that Dr. William Samoi Ruto is qualified to be Kenya's fifth president because of a number of leaders who came from other parties to give him support.
