Uproar Online As A Reckless Driver Knocks Down People During A Political Rally

In the past few hours or so an horrific incident has occurred, where several people have unfortunately been knocked down by a reckless driver during a political rally.

According to the video that was shared online by famous Egesa FM presenter Nancy Kwamboka, it all happened in Nyamira County on Sunday.

As per the video, the politician now claimed to be Nyamira Gubernatorial hopeful Ben Momanyi, was drumming up support for himself as the August General elections are getting nearer and nearer.

However he was on top of his car, and the residents of the area presumably his supporters had accompanied him on his quest.

Out of nowhere what looked like a tour car came overspeeding, and hit several people before coming to a halt as seen in the video below.

It is however not yet clear what caused the driver of the vehicle to hit the people.

The post however elicited an uproar from netizens, especially as the leader seemed to be unbothered by the accident.

According to recent posts on his Facebook account, it was clear that Hon. Ben Momanyi had campaigned in Nyamira on Sunday, and especially in areas of Nyamusi, Magwagwa, Ikonge, Ekerenyo and Mosobeti.
