What ODM Official Said After Residents Turn out In Low Number To Welcome Raila Odinga In Gilgil

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Director of Communication Hon Philip Etale has revealed that former prime minister Raila Odinga is really in Gilgil, a stronghold of president Uhuru Kenyatta.

While admitting that the residents failed to welcome ODM Boss Raila Odinga, Etale said that this move has provided a peaceful environment as there's no one to shout unnecessary conversation."We are in Gilgil, no shouting and no noise," said Hon Etale. Raila is in All Israel Churches of Kenya and he's expected to popularise his 2022 presidential ambitions.

This comes at a time when deputy president William Ruto is popularising his ambitions in Migori county which is believed to be Raila's stronghold. A number of residents have welcomed him with others being seen with wheelbarrows, symbol of Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party. What's your view on this?
