President Uhuru Kenyatta is currently making a State of the nation address from State House in Nairobi county where he had some really disturbingly news to pass on to the nation.
In the state of the nation address, president Uhuru Kenyatta has announced that retired president Mwai Kibaki is dead. Kibaki passed on several moments ago with the cause of his death not disclosed at the time of publication of this article.
The head of state passed on his condolence message to president Mwai Kibaki's immediate family members who include his children Judy Wanjiku, Jimmy Kibaki, David Kagai, and Tony Githinji.
Uhuru went on to pay tribute to the stellar role that the fallen head of state has played in the development and prosperity of the country. His death comes at a time when the country is preparing to usher in a new administration in the next few months.
