The voting process in Bonchari's constituency started well as expected. Everything was in order as expected. There was no violance or any other malpractice that was observed during the initial stages of the voting process due to heavy security that was deployed in all polling stations.
The only problem that was reported by KBC journalist by the name simon Achola who was on the ground that can be taken to be a mistake is that most of the voters were scrambling in voting lines without observing any social distance.

According to the report the journalist gave on live KBC TV that was watched by this writer, the voters were so close in a way that could pause danger to their lives as far as Covid-19 pandemic is concerned.
Achola indicated that the voters were crowded and did not follow the expected Covid-19 procedures so as to prevent this deadly infection from spreading.
Living in the current world where Covid-19 pandemic is causing trouble all over and even in Kenya, someone would expect citizens to try as much as possible to prevent this deadly infection from spreading.
Bonchari Constituency being in Nyanza region where the deadly Indian Variant strain of the Covid-19 was detected, someone would expect voters in that region to fully maintain Covid-19 prevention measures properly so as to ensure this variant does not spread.
The disease has caused numerous deaths in India which should be taken as example for us and make us follow the Covid-19 prevention measures fully.
