The United Democratic Alliance party team led by Deputy President William Ruto are currently on their two days tour in Kakamega County where former Senator Boni Khalwale was making huge preparations for the Hustler Nation empowerment campaigns.

Several local leaders including Mumias East MP Ben Washiali, and Dan Wanyama of Webuye West Constituency were at the meeting as they are big supporters of the Deputy President.

All did not go well as expected by some of the local leaders as they faced rejection from the people. As one of the leaders was trying to address the crowd, the people heckled him as they did not want to listen to him.

Deputy President William Ruto had to take the mic away from him to avoid further embarrassment which could jeopardise his tour to the region.
