Ruto's Lamu Meeting Disrupted As Local Politics Play out

Deputy President William Ruto's Lamu meeting with locals almost turn chaotic as local politics played out in Ruto's presence forcing Hon. Aisha Jumwa Katana the Malindi Member of Parliament to call for calm. From the video posted on Deputy President's twitter handle, the murmuring started after Nyali Member of Parliament Hon. Mohammed, Lokiru Ali Finished his speech.

From the video Aisha Jumwa is seen calling on the wild crowd to lower their posters down which were going against the other Politicians. The murmuring grew louder and louder forcing the Ruto's vocal ally to cut short her speech to listen to what they were saying. “Sisi sote tuko UDA, na tunapendana sana, sasa terememsha mabango kwa Kuwa nimewasikiza" she said.

Deputy President William Ruto in his Lamu tour was accampanied by several UDA leaders where the region took an oath to vote in William Ruto.
