The Party of National Unity which is under Uhuru’s cabinet Secretary Peter Munya held a successful meeting with Raila Odinga and his ODM party. The meeting which was a culmination of subsequent meetings was aimed at coming up with a formula that will see the two parties come together and form a pact that will see the two work together in 2022.
According to a statement by the ODM party, the meeting was a success and was attended by among other officials by the PNU party which played a critical role in the 2017 election that saw Ruto and Uhuru come together and win the polls.
Ruto’s ally Denis Itumbi had earlier on hinted that the two parties had signed a deal that will ensure Raila become the next president through a partnership deal. This comes as a major boost for Raila Odinga who is wooing the region to vote him in.
