Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkonen has finally reacted after His Excellency the former Prime Minister issued a statement declining to concede defeat in the presidential election.
He has noted that the statement issued by the former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga and that of the four Commissioners of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission was one and the same.
He has since challenged both Raila Odinga and the commissioners to share what figures that they have because the results of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission are still in the public portal.
"The statement by Raila Odinga and the one of the 4 estranged IEBC Commissioners was cut from the same cloth- Azimio. Since the results were in a public portal and everyone in Kenya and abroad tallied, let the 4 Commissioners and Azimio share their figures jointly or severally."Kipchumba Murkonen.
This comes moments after the Azimio la Umoja presidential aspirant Raila Odinga said that he is heading to the Supreme Court of Kenya to challenge the presidential results announced by the IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati.
Speaking at KICC on Tuesday, Raila said he will exploit all available legal options to shoot down the results announced on Monday.
