IEBC Apologizes For Keying Wrong Presidential Results

After an earlier mix-up in which the IEBC system showed that Raila had received less votes from the Kiambu Town Constituency, the commission has since issued an apology.

The Commission, through one of its officers, indicated that the mess has been addressed in form 34C, which includes the overall Presidential Results of the Leading 2022 Presidential contenders, as observed by this writer from a televised media conference broadcast by NTV.

In the meantime, IEBC has assured Kenyans that the process of updating and verifying results from the 290 consequences is nearly complete and should be wrapped up by tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

Currently, according to data from 46 constituencies collected by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, Raila is ahead of Deputy President William Ruto by a margin of almost 28 percent.
