Senator Ledama Defends Two Touts Who Hanged In A Moving Bus

Ledama Ole Kina, a senator from Narok County, criticized the National Transport and Safety Authority for detaining a driver and two touts for disobeying traffic laws.

Ledama claimed that the Authority was carrying out its role in a hypocritical manner.

The senator speculated that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua taught the two touts who were detained for hanging on a matatu how to do it.

He alleged that they should not have been arrested by NTSA for they learnt the same from DP Gachagua during a trip in Kisumu.

Gachagua was videotaped waving to the crowd that had gathered to welcome him as he made his way through Kisumu while hanging by the door of his automobile.

The three, who drove an Ummoiner Sacco-owned matatu, were detained on Monday after a video of them hanging from the driving vehicle went viral.
