It is the fifth day since Kenyans participated in their Democratic right to vote. Kenyans are waiting anxiously for IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati to announce the presidential candidate elect. He has advised Kenyans to remain calm as they count vote so that to deliver a fair presidential results.
However one of Azimio LA umoja ally Mutua Ngunyi who is among famous people on social media in Kenya tweeted on his twitter page that Are we headed for a constitutional miscarriage? If IEBC does not meet the 7 day deadline to announce presidential results, then what? If they have announced an average of 20 constituency presidential results per day, can they announce the over 200 in 3 days? NULLIFICATION or what?
Set tweeted, "Initially, IEBC chairman WAFULA CHEBUKATI said the media was doing very slow, I now wonder. But the good thing is that we already know the president."
Wanjala tweeted, "Bwana, IEBC is an Independent institution and it is cognizant of Constitutional deadline.Let us be patient and avoid unnecessary speculations."
