On Thursday 18 February 2021 Bulding Bridges Initiative Public Participation in Kuresoi South Constituency ended in an ugly manner. This was as a result of different perspective view of the bill by renown Rift Valley whistleblower Weldon Koech alias Weldon Kapkeet allied to Deputy President William Ruto. According to Koech, he considered the document as of no value saying he see no need to re-read the document after it was disapproved by Deputy President William Ruto and his allies.
" No need to re- read the document over and over again. The document has already been read by Deputy President William Ruto , Susan Kihika , Kipchumba Murkomen and other selfless leaders who mind the interest of Kenyans so there is no need of tabling it here for a second time for us to read. We have already get to know the good things inside the document and the negative part. We are calling upon all of us for consensus and not Win - Lose competition ," Whistleblower Weldon Kapkeet
