'The Laws are Clear' Karua Responds Hours after Raila Rejected Presidential Results

Azimio One Kenya presidential running mate Martha Karua has responded to Raila Odinga on social media a few hours after rejecting IEBC final tally.

Karua via her verified Twitter account, assured Raila that they will collaborate in seeking legal options to nullify UDA leader William Ruto's victory.

She said the constitution was clear on how IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati should conduct his role in the commission.

" The Constitution and our laws are clear about how the IEBC should conduct its business and the role of the Chairperson of the IEBC in delivering credible elections. As such, we will be pursuing all constitutional and legal options available to us." Karua said.

Raila argued that the IEBC at the time of announcing the winner of the presidential vote - lacked a quorum.

He went on to accuse Chebukati of denying other commissioners access to the results before making them public.

Ruto's ally Nelson Havi earlier welcomed Azimio move to petition the presidential results at Supreme court. He expressed confidence that Ruto will win the case.
