The Deputy President ally, believes among the 10 shortlisted candidate for the interview, both Senior Counsel Fred Ngatia and Justice Ouko, who has also grown his 41 experience within the judiciary as the best, having outstanding performance for the just concluded Interview.
He further asked the president to demise trinal factor, insisting it is the individual who attended the interview to succeed Retired Chief Justice Dr David Maraga and not the persons tribe. Hence advising president Kenyatta to choose between the two.

Through his twitter account, Dr Khalawle wrote, "The 10 day long interviews for our next CJ are finally over. we are boldly asking President Uhuru that individuality not tribe attended the interviews. We demand that you give us nothing but the best. Sc Fred Ngatia and Judge William Ouko were outstanding. Either will suffice."
The Judicial Service Commission concluded the interview with Alice Yano who promised to ensure enough finance to judiciary as well as clearing pending cases that has long been a judiciary challenge.
