There was drama outside Kasarani indoor arena when Jimmy Wanjigi arrived at the National Delegates conference as a self declared presidential aspirant. He had promised during an exclusive interview at National television that he was going to attend the meeting despite being declared an ordinary member. He has come out to condemn the attempts by orange democratic party officials to lock him out of the contest with the party leader Raila Amollo Odinga.
Wanjigi arrived with alot of drama engulfing his arrival as his supporters chanted in unison for way to be cleared as he was arriving. This sudden twist of events was not expected as he has been a faithful member since the formation of orange democratic party of Kenya in 2007.
He had earlier highlighted that he has invested alot in the party and he would not take the ignorance of a good response in good faith at all.
