On Sunday, a thanksgiving service was held in the Uasin Gishu district. Attending the service with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was the chairman of the Kenya Kwanzaa Alliance, Moses Wetang'ula.
The choice made by President William Ruto to hold the Economic Forum in all districts, according to the chairman of the Ford Kenya Party, was a crucial component in the victory that the President ultimately achieved.
"Ruto is regarded by many Kenyans as the leader of the country in the years to come. We went to a number of different parts of the country and, for the first time, had conversations with regular Kenyans to find out what they thought the electorate should do in the event that the presidential candidate were to win the election.
Wetang'ula went on to reassure Kenyans that the KKA government was eager to deliver on their campaign pledges. He went on to say that he does not doubt that President Ruto, who has since proven to be hands-on, will make Kenyans proud and move the country to the next level.
