The disagreement between Governor Kawira Mwangaza and the Meru County MCAs is the result of Mr. Baichu's engagement in county affairs. MCAs accuse Mr. Baichu of assuming the job of Governor despite the fact that he was not legitimately elected.
However, the High Court disallowed the application to remove Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza, concluding that the county legislators did not follow the prescribed processes.
Donald Kipkorir, a staunch supporter of Azimio, had now emailed Mwangaza's husband a note advising him to stop adhering to his wife in order to prevent further uncertainty.
He argued that it was past time for him to stop waiting for his wife to bring food to the table and instead go work for electorates while playing guitar only at home."Isn’t it time the husband of Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza allows her to work? The man should be humble enough to be quiet like all housemen & play his guitar only in the house. He should join other men who wait for their wives to bring bacon home!" He tweeted.
