We Are Preparing To Unveil A Presidential Candidate OKA Ally Reveals

Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula are officially out of the One Kenya Alliance (OKA). This leaves OKA with three political parties including; Wiper Democratic Movement, United Democratic Party UDP and Kenya African National Union KANU. ANC and Ford Kenya agreed to work with United Democratic Alliance (UDA) which is led by Deputy President DP William Ruto. While speaking on Citizen TV today morning, on what position Hon Mudavadi will be given, Kakamega Senator says that everything will be discussed on the negotiation table and anything is possible. During the debate, Orange Democratic Movement ODM Secretary General (SG) Edwin Sifuna however has a different perspective of the move by ANC and Ford Kenya to merge forces with UDA. According to Sifuna, the two are regional parties who will bring DP Ruto nothing but stress and problems. " We know the capacity of these people, they are political parasites who do not have the capacity to operate on their own, " Sifuna said.

However, according to KANU Political Affairs Secretary Fred Akango, OKA is not hurt, moved or affected by the departure of the two principals. He argued that OKA was not about an individual and no damage has been done since they still have three principals in the alliance. He also talked of OKA still planning to field candidate in the next general elections. " We are preparing to unveil a candidate since the main reason forming OKA was to secure power and this is only possible when we have a candidate in the ballot, " Akango said while answering to a question on the future of OKA after the move by Mudavadi and Wetangula.
