After the Senate failed to pass the County Revenue Bill 2020, various leaders mainly from Central kenya have launched onslaught against anybody who stands against their plan to have more revenue allocated to their counties. The onslaught is being led by Honourable Moses Kuria. In his social media post on Wednesday, August 5, Honourable Kuria indicated that Mr Abdikadir Mohamed who chaired Parliament’s Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee(PCIOC) introduced the 1st generation Revenue Sharing formula that was biased.
According to Honourable Kuria, the current stalemate was due to mistakes and biasness that was done ten years ago by the State House handlers.“It is important to note that what is happening with the Revenue Allocation Formula is trying to redress some historical injustice that happened 10 years ago..." Kuria said.

Honourable Kuria claimed that Mr Adbikadir used his power and influence in State House to ensure that the revenue sharing formula favours less populaous counties.“When the second generation formula came up in 2015, again Hon Abdikadir Mohammed, also ensured that less populaous counties continued to enjoy revenue ,” Kuria claimed.
According to Honourable Moses Kuria, central Kenya people have been suffered economically. The people of central kenya views Mr Adbikadir as their enemy for formulating a revenue sharing formula that discriminated them economically.
