Joining ODM? Reactions After Martha Karua Commented on Raila's Pledge to Kenyans if he Wins in 2022

Former Gichugu MP Martha Karua on Thursday left Kenyans on Twitter guessing her next political move after commending on the former Prime Minister's promise to Kenyans if he wins the presidency next year.

Speaking in Migori County earlier in the day, the ODM leader stated that one of his main priorities will be to focus on universal healthcare, a move that will ensure every Kenyans has access to free medical cover.

He added that he will ensure that every county has improved health infrastructure, including a level five hospitals in all sub-counties.

Through her Twitter page, Karua argued that the universal healthcare was one of her key points when she ran for the presidency in 2013.

This elicited mixed reactions with most of her supporters urging her to join hands with Raila as his running mate come next year.

This comes few hours after controversial political commentator Mutahi Ngunyi claimed that Karua was 'playing hard to get' as Raila's running mate, and thus the ODM boss would settle on Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui.

Check out some of the reactions;

@JoshKomedi: Raila-Karua ticket loading, for sure this one will save Kenya.

@fochieng302: You are one person who I can trust with my vote why can't join Raila save this country. Please mum.

@USA_kj01: I know you will be a vvvip on the 10th of December at Kasarani Stadium.

@water_sommelier: Lending out tactics to these lairs... Generous of you.

@kilwake254: So is he stealing your manifesto or we should conclude you'll be the running mate.
