Mudavadi's Ally Snubs OKA's Rally Yesterday

One Kenya Alliance (OKA) soldiers yesterday, Tuesday, 7th December rented Taita Taveta county while traversing the region with Uchumi Bora, Pesa Mfukoni, eradicating poverty and resuscitation of economy agenda ahead of 2022 general election.

OKA chief partners, Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Wiper party boss Kalonzo Musyoka, KANU Chairman Gideon Moi and the embattled Ford Kenya party senior Moses Wetangula, toured Wundanyi, Mwatate town and Voi in selling their manifestos to voters in the attempt of heightening a heavyweight base support across the country.

OKA promised to erase the poverty line and bridge the gap between the rich and underprivileged people in Taita Taveta through provision of equal job opportunities to jobless youths regardless of their socioeconomic status. They also pledged to induce plans that will benefit Taita Taveta locals from the kickbacks realized from the mining sector.

Mudavadi assured that OKA government will consider reverting back the land that was grabbed by opportunists to the rightful owners in 2022. "I have no special interests in land, my brothers here (Wetangula, Kalonzo and Gideon Moi) have no special interests in land too, so we want to assure those people who lost their rightful land to grabbers that we shall make sure they get back their land when we take over in 2022" Mudavadi stated.

However, it was keenly noted that Mudavadi's key inner circle confidant Hon Cleophas Malala was missing in action. This shocked a battery of political pundits since it is under rare occasion for Malala to snub OKA's rally.

This emerges barely two weeks after he (Malala) locked horns with Wiper party Kalonzo Musyoka for inviting OKA's bigwig opponent (Raila) to National Delegates Conference (NDC). Malala sensed that Kalonzo and his co-principal Gideon Moi might be warming up to join the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party supremo Raila Odinga.

In a quick rebuttal, Kalonzo also accused Malala for being DP Ruto's Tangatanga hireling who is buying time in OKA before shifting to UDA.

This intense head-on tackle might have orchestrated Kakamega senator to soften his political jaws slowed his pace in marketing and selling OKA's agenda and maybe occasioned him to miss today's OKA event in Taita Taveta.
