Hustler self-proclaimed spokesman and blogger Dennis Itumbi is at it again, this time alleging that a secret meeting was held in Karen today intending to endorse Musalia Mudavadi for the presidency ahead of 2022.
This comes amidst reports that the One Kenya Alliance party (OKA) made up of Mudavadi, Gideon Moi of KANU, Moses Wetangula of Ford Kenya and Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper are still in a dilemma on who should be the presidential flag bearer.
According to Itumbi, the secret meeting held at Karen residence was chaired by Senate speaker Hon Lusaka with all Western region leaders invited as they ponder on the best possible move to popularize Musalia Mudavadi candidature.
However, despite the invitation as alleged by Dennis Itumbi only a few leaders led by Moses Wetangula Senator Malala, and Makadara Member of Parliament George Aladwa showed up.
The meeting finalized that the Nairobi Metropolitan Service (NMS) and the Nairobi County led by Deputy Governor Anne Kananu will be the main source of finance for Mudavadi's campaign.
"Reports indicate that the NMS and The Nairobi County will be the Financing Arm of the Mudavadi For President tickets." Part of Itumbi's statement said.
