Kibicho who is allegedly preparing for Kirinyaga's gubernatorial race in 2022 said that the region will not be swayed to support a certain leader, until they know how they will benefit, and what the presidential aspirant will be bringing to the table.
Speaking in Kirinyaga as he supervises the preparations of Mashujaa Day celebrations, Kibicho added that after the ceremony, the leaders across the county will meet and decided on their irreducible minimums to any presidential aspirant in need of their support.
He however commended on the past meetings between the Mount Kenya Foundation (MKF), ODM party leader Raila Odinga and the One Kenya Alliance principals.
"We urge our people not to be swayed by the leaders. In 2022 we will have a new president. The recent meetings at Safari Park is what we are following, and we call upon you all to ask what they will do for us. We will come here again to set out irreducible minimums to anyone who needs our votes," said Kibicho.
This comes a day after MKF stated that they did not have a preferred 2022 presidential candidate.
