Huge crowds have gathered in Kisii to hear from William Ruto who is currently making his way to the Nyanza town. From the video shared online by Ruto’s team, there was heavy traffic of people who could not hold back as they demanded to be addressed by William Ruto and his team hours after he landed in the area.
Ruto’s entourage was forced to make several stopovers in the region since the crowds kept gathering at every town they visited. Kisii which is home to some of the country’s top politicians is today playing host to the deputy president who is currently on a mission to seek votes from the region.
Several leaders addressed the gathered crowd and vowed to support his bid to the statehouse saying that he is the best candidate to take the country to the next step. Ruto has made it clear that he will sign an agreement with the people in the run-up to 2022.
