CS nominee in the Ministry of Agriculture Mithika Linturi has revealed the circumstances under which he dropped the ouster motion against Ann Waiguru, then the Devolution CS. According to Linturi, he was called in Statehouse and a gun was put over his head leading him to drop the impeachment motion against Ann Waiguru.

The former Senator for Meru County Mithika Linturi narrates that he was fully forced to withdraw charges against Waiguru. He is clear that such happened under very difficult circumstances and he just gave up after extreme pressure from statehouse.
Linturi is clear that he regrets the circumstances under which he dropped the ouster motion against Waiguru. According to Linturi, most of the accusations against him came after his insistence to have Waiguru impeached.
Linturi is clear that Uhuru Kenyatta, Jomo Gecaga and Njee Muturi are some of the state officers who threatened his life. The former Meru Senator narrates that he didn't have a option after threats and that's why he didn't make it to be in Parliament to prosecute his motion.
