The deputy president William Ruto today held a meeting with coastal region leaders where they discussed various issues affecting the residents. According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the deputy president William Ruto was later led the rally in Taita Taveta county at Wundanyi market where residents came out in large numbers.

According to the video which was live on the social media platforms, the residents came out in large numbers chearing Ruto's name. The deputy president William Ruto urged the crowd to support him in the next general election which is planned to happen on August next year. Despite that, the Taita Taveta residents agreed to support the deputy president William Ruto in the next general election.

The leaders who accampanied the deputy president William Ruto also urged the residents to support the deputy president. The Wundanyi market was full of people who were chanting Ruto's name he addresses them.
