President Kenyatta is set to retire as August general election beckons.The remaining 38 days have started witnessing heated campaigns across the country.Each camp is determined to defeat the other in the coming election that is likely to be hotly contested between Raila Odinga and William Ruto.The two have managed to woo a good number of voters across the country.
This time,Raila Odinga is a lucky man.He has for once got the backings of the sitting head of state.President Kenyatta has preferred Raila as his successor.He feels that it is Raila who will spearhead his development agenda more that Ruto.He has been accusing Ruto for neglecting his roles and instead majoring in campaigns at the expense of serving Kenyans.
Today while speaking at KICC,Kenyatta without naming anyone said that he gave them jobs but have ended up doing nothing.In a quick rejoinder,DP Ruto has fired back at his boss.He has told Uhuru to keep off his succession politics so that he deals personally with Raila.Will he defeat Raila?
