President William Samoei Ruto continues to appoint his team that will enable him run the country in a swift manner. As his cabinet appointees continue to undergo vetting, the security docket around him and statehouse as a whole is also not left behind. Former president Uhuru's team is being replaced with others of the new president's choice.
For instance, Uhuru's Aide De Camp Timothy Lekolool was promoted and replaced with President Ruto's aide-de-camp, Colonel Fabian Lengusuranga. Moreover, the president has appointed his head if presidential escort unit commandant. The longest serving head of security in his office Oloonkishu Yiampoy has been appointed to replace Josphat Mputhia Kirumi.

In matters to do with security of top leaders across the world, what matters most is qualification and loyalty. Leaders prefer to work with people who guarantee them maximum security. In most cases, those who have worked with them for long are promoted to higher ranks just like Oloonkishu Yiampoy.
