The Deputy President William Ruto has continued to advocate for his Bottom Up economic model that is aimed to empower the low income earning Kenyans to climb up the ladder. Coupled with his Hustler Nation slogan, the second in command targets to win millions of Kenyans who are identified as hustlers to bring the food on the table.
The Deputy President His Excellency William Ruto has however been criticized for glorifying the poverty in Kenya for his own political benefits. His critique have also challenged him to outline the achievements he has been able to attain since he was elected as the Deputy President in 2013.
The second in command has been hosting the elected and grassroot leaders at his official residence in Karen. This is meant to lay the campaigns strategy and gain broader support base.
