Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, attorney general Kihara Kariuki and head of public service Dr. Joseph Kinyua were also in attendance.

Other cabinet secretaries who were behind Raila's presidential bid includes; Agriculture CS Peter Munya, Defense CS Eugene Wamalwa, Environment CS Keriako Tobiko, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe and ICT CS Joe Mucheru.
