Babu Owino Asks CJ Martha Koome To Swear In Raila Odinga As 5th President

Controversial Member of Parliament Babu Owino has asked Chief Justice Martha Koome to swear in Raila Odinga as the next president.

Babu Owino says that it is already time for the Orange Democratic Party leader to take charge of the country.

He argues that Raila should be the president as the country awaits the 2022 general elections.

"I am humbly requesting the Chief Justice of Kenya Martha Koome to swear in Baba in advance as the 5th president of Kenya as we wait for elections next year," he posted.

He has also trashed Deputy President William Ruto who is also seeking to succeed Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to the Embakasi East leader, Ruto is a resident and Raila is a president.

However, Riala has not yet announced whether he will be vying for the top seat.

The Orange Democratic Party is yet to hold nominations for the different candidates in the party.

The last time Raila was sworn in despite losing it did not end well for some of his supporters.
