"Raila and Kalonzo are fighting each other as to who is the leader of the opposition." Prof. Macharia (foreign policy analyst ) said.
Some Kenyans believe that because of the advanced age of Raila Amolo Odinga, it will be difficult for him to re-invest himself as the firebrand Chief Opposition.
However, Professor Macharia Munene, former Professor of History and International Relations at USIU-Africa, says that he can still emerge strong in the current Kenyan situation.
"You cannot say that this is the end of the road for him. He is quite an agile and witty politician who will always bounce back. Politics has been Raila's way of life," says Macharia.
