The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) deputy president designate Hon. Rigathi Gachagua led campaigns in his home county (Nyeri) to cajole the local people in voting the Gachagua-Ruto ticket in the upcoming general election slated for 9th August 2022.
According to reports from various media houses, an unfortunate incident occurred after one of the vehicles in his campaign trail got involved in a gruesome accident and fell over injuring several Kenyans. Some of the youths have been reported to hang recklessly in overloaded campaign vehicles with another accident being witnessed in Kisii County few weeks ago involving UDA Mp Silvanus Osoro's motorcade. While taking to his Facebook page, Rigathi Gachagua has thanked the people of Endarasha in Kieni West for a warm reception. He further on claimed the ground to be resonating with UDA and bottom up economic model narratives. However, many Kenyans have expressed their worry after the Kieni accident asking a myriad of questions. His post has also elicited mixed reactions with some Kenyans demanding an explanation on why one of his campaign vehicle rolled. Here are some comments from Kenyans below:
