Good News This Morning for Ruto's Gachagua as Mt Kenya Leader Clears News on His Torture

For the most part of yesterday, claims emerged on social media that deputy president William Ruto's running mate, Hon Rigathi Gachagua, was involved in questionable conduct during Daniel Moi's presidency

According to reports that went viral yesterday, Gachagua was accused of torturing former Runyenjes constituency member of Parliament Hon Njeru Kathangu at the infamous Nyayo torture cells.iko

In an interview with The Standard, Mt Kenya's leader finally addressed the allegations.Kathangu, who was tortured in Nyayo's torture chambers, did not send the message.

He argues the viral posts are outright lies intended to damage the presidential candidate and his running mate.

He said it had nothing to do with his social media accounts and that Nyayo house was a gloomy place where no one could see their tormentors except in exceptional circumstances.

Kenyans are encouraged to ignore the propaganda. fbid=pfbid0NUAZFe5hXY71bRMwZAcpk2zgv985CGoJyfPuqkqYYyzrmEou6JLUKdwE7esrFr1kl&id=1214284213&sfnsn=mo
