New Directorate of Criminal Investigation Boss, Mohamed Amin has once again made major changes in the Investigative Agency few days after his appointment by President William Ruto. The new DCI Boss seems to be keen on making changes in a docket which his predecessor was at loggerheads with the current Head of State.
President William Ruto during his Campaigns reinstated the need to overhaul the DCI and bring in fresh individuals who are willing to serve the country without any prejudice or biasness. The new DCI Boss during his first speech to the Nation stated that he would strive to work for all Kenyans.

DCI Boss, Amin Mohamed has today disbanded the Anti- Counterfeit Unit that was assembled by his predecessor, George Kinoti in 2018. The Unit was formed by Kinoti to help tackle the rise of counterfeit products which were mostly being imported to the country.
DCI Boss, Amin Mohamed has transferred all the Senior Commanders of the Anti- Counterfeit Unit in a move which has surprised Kenyans. Amin Mohamed seems to be keen on realigning the DCI department as directed by President William Ruto.
