"Don't Take Us Back to 1963" Wahome Lectures Kieleweke & MKF Leaders, Assures Ruto of Mt Kenya Votes

Kandara MP Alice Wahome has criticized political leaders from Jubilee's Kieleweke faction and Mount Kenya Foundation for being the mastermind behind the recent meetings held at Safari back with Raila Odinga and OKA principals.

Speaking on Monday from Karen when Deputy President William Ruto had hosted grassroot leaders from Murang'a County, Wahome stated that the voter knows who to vote for, and that they will not allow installation of a preferred leader in the 2022 general elections.

"You will not make decisions for 40 or 50 million Kenyans with around 26 million voters by deciding on who becomes our president a strategy used in 1963. That strategy cannot apply in 2022 and we will make our own decision," said Wahome.

She went on to state that the hustlers are behind Ruto due to his bottom up economic model which she says will streamline the country's economy and empower both small and medium businesses.

She regretted the hard times boda boda riders go through to make a living, expressing her confidence that things will change next year when Ruto wins the presidency, adding that the wealthy do not know the difficulties ordinary citizen goes through.
