Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has now emerged as a hot cake with seven months remaining for the August polls.
Mudavadi's decision to join Ruto has elevated Musyoka's position in the country's political dynamics with many now terming him as a possibile kingmaker.
Kalonzo has today however appeared to have a hard stance as far as working with Ruto is concerned.
Speaking in Makueni, Kalonzo accused Ruto of using proceeds of graft to finance his campaigns.
Kalonzo raised concern on the source of the money Ruto has been spending on youths and women groups.
According to Kalonzo, the money which is definitely proceeds of graft was in sometimes even causing chaos across the country.
Kalonzo further took issues with Ruto for saying that he was loosing his hair after supporting Raila for long.
"At the age of 68 do you still expect me to have full hair?", Kalonzo asked amidst cheers from the crowd.
Kalonzo could also be heard speaking in Kamba where he laughed of the idea of him joining the 'wheelbarrow' team.
Kalonzo Musyoka did not also fail to remind the Kamba Nation on how Ruto made fun of him in the 2017 general elections.
He recounted Ruto's famous 'amekalia lami' phrase as he wondered how they could now work together.
Musyoka however promised to be the Chief negotiator of the Kamba Nation this time round and vowed to make sure that the Region's interests will be in safe hands.
He for instance promised to ensure that counties will henceforth receive 35 percent.
