Uncertainty Locks Raila, Uhuru Camp After Junet Mohammed's Remarks To Mutahi Kagwe Attracts Backlash

A statement by Suna East Member Of Parliament Hon Junet Mohammed has put President Uhuru's Camp and that of the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga at loggerhead. The remarks by Junet Mohammed allegedly addressing Cabinet Secretary for Health Mutahi Kagwe has caused tension in their Camp.

Junet allegedly said that the next government will be going to Nyanza region. Whether that is what the Suna East Member Of Parliament wanted to mean, his remarks have attracted critism from Central Kenya leaders and mostly those supporting the Deputy President William Ruto. One of those who have not taken those allegations kindly is Mathira Member Of Parliament Hon Rigathi Gachagua who question those demanding for Uhuru to endorse Raila. According to Rigathi Gachagua, these are threats directed to the people of Mt Kenya and they are not going to work. Rigathi Gachagua has said that Mt Kenya region will reject Raila the way they did in 1997. Gachagua is a strong Pillar in Hustler Nation Movement allied to the Deputy President William Ruto.
