Through his official Facebook page the Kiminini legislator described the deceased as a humble and God fearing person .
"I have learnt with disbilief and shock on the untimely demise of Mzee John Etemesi. We spoke with him last week and we were scheduled to meet in the course of this week. We consulted with Mzee frequently on matters politics, empowerment of our people, religion & church.
"He will be remembered as a humble, God fearing and a respectable leader of the Mulembe Nation. May God grant his family fortitude to bear the loss. May his soul rest in eternal peace," he added.
