Reports reaching us just now is that Aquiline Njoki has this evening passed on after a brief illness. She, until her demise, served as a Board Member of the Kiambu County Public Service Board.
Honorable Aquiline Njoki ran for the governor in the last general elections but did not come out as a victor. She took this positively and had since worked with the county's leadership to better the lives of the people of Kiambu County.
Reports on her death are still not clear as we await further details from her family. We extend our condolences to the people of Kiambu who have lost a great and visionary leader.
The people of Kiambu had this to say about the sad incident:
Murithi wa Narok: RIP.
Bendina Shishialy: Rest in peace.
Zack Mwangi: So sad. My heartfelt condolences to the family. Fare thee well.
Mercy James: Shine with Angels my dear friens.
