It Will Not End Well With Governor Oparanya, Professor Makau Mutua Predicts What Might Happen

Kenyan American Professor of Law Makau Mutua has reacted over Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya's recent move to hold meetings with Deputy President William Ruto despite being an ODM member predicting what will happen.

According to Makau Mutua, he has said that Governor Wycliffe Oparanya meeting with DP Ruto is a clear sign of his downfall and that he might be left between ridges.

Mr. Makau has alleged that the Kakamega Governor and who serves as the Orange Democratic Movement Deputy Party Leader is playing both sides of Raila-Ruto with a plan to raise his stock among the Abaluhya.

However, the Professor of Law has made an analyaua of what Governor Oparanya is doing predicting that his move might result in a sour ending.

"It’s clear @GovWOparanya is playing both sides against the middle. He’s toying with @WilliamsRuto and being coy with @RailaOdinga to raise his stock among the Abaluhya. He who chases after two lovers simultaneously often ends up with none," Makau Mutua has warned.

The controversial remarks by Mr. Mutua come even despite the clarification made by the ODM party where they informed that Oparanya's meeting with DP has not been secret and that they are fully aware of such happenings.

“Oparanya has not been on any mission of betrayal as some people may want it to look. Sometimes in politics, it is good to learn what your opponent is plotting and be able to get the best defense to counter them. In all instances, Oparanya has been briefing our ODM party leadership including the party leader on every detail of his discussion with Ruto,” ODM said.
