The testimony by the Governor of Meru Kawira Mwangaza has opened a new conversation in the political arena. The main aim was to ensure that she is given a fair hearing against the county assembly of Meru.
Kawira Mwangaza revealed that she appointed her husband as the patron of Meru Youth and the hustler ambassador in Meru. She was keen to note that the first gentleman of Meru was not going to obtain any benefits from the county as the work he was going to conduct was entirely voluntary.
She was keen to note that all the allegations against the first gentleman of Meru were not true as he was not directly involved in running the county of Meru. She revealed that Murega Baichu was not appoint by the county public service board as no appointment letter was issued to the same effect.
