What's Cooking? Speculation Rife as Mudavadi Holds Closed Door Meeting With Western Region Governors

Mudavadi held a closed door meeting with Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa of Kakamega, Bungoma County Governor Kenneth Lusaka and Wilberforce Kitiezo, Deputy Governor of Vihiga County at his office raisimg speculations.

Speaking after the meeting, Mudavadi revealed that the team of Governors agreed to work together on development matters.

The Governors requested the Treasury to expedite disbursements to counties for them to carter for pending bills since nonpayment is likely to wipe out entrepreneurs in the region.

"I met a team of governors from the Western Region at my office today. The meeting, among others, agreed on working together on development matters. I impressed on the leaders from the region being each others keeper. The governors on their part, requested Treasury to expedite disbursements to counties for them to carter for pending bills.  meeting agreed that nonpayment is likely to wipe out entrepreneurs in the region," Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi said.
