There Are Few Errors In Election But It Does Not Want Nullification- Githu Muigai

Githu Muigai has defended the IEBC Commission in response to Raila Amollo Odinga's petition to challenge the election of William Samoei Ruto as the fifth President of the Republic of Kenya, admitting that there were mistakes but not to the extent that the entire choice should be annulled.

He also claimed that the petitioners made broad generalizations that should not have been debated in court. He acknowledged the existence of some flaws, but not to the extent of canceling the entire process.

"Was it the best option?" Nothing beats a perfect choice. "These were people who could have flaws," he said.

"Were the few mistakes of such magnitude that this court was able to overturn the election?" he argued. He also stated that the election was the most fair yet, and that observers had provided reports indicating that William Ruto had won fairly.
