In his official Facebook account, Kipchumba Murkomen has written the following message. "Congratulation, Honorable William Kisang, on being selected as the UDA's representative in the upcoming Elgeyo Marakwet County senetorial by-elections. Also, congrats to every other candidate who competed fiercely and did an outstanding job. Moving forward as one indivisible family, let's remember that competition strengthens us individually and prepares us for service in our various roles and duty stations."
William Kisang got 28,136 votes followed by Tim with 26, 756 votes and JK got 26, 735 votes. In Murang'a County, Kandara constituency which was initially lead by CS of Water Alice Muthoni Wahome, Njuguna Chege won the nomination after garnering more than seven thousand votes.
