She claimed that most leaders who are joining Odinga in his political tours in Mt Kenya region are not doing so willingly but under pressure from the government.
The lawmaker further condemned the government for trying to force Odinga to the people against their wish where he said it's against the constitution and termed it as unacceptable.
Wahome who was speaking at her constituency claimed that the central region is backing Deputy President William Ruto and all the efforts by the government to sell Odinga to the region is in vain.
"No amount of effort being put by the government that will make Odinga sellable in Mt Kenya region," said Wahome.
She also accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of betraying Ruto by supporting Odinga as the two had agreed on two term presidency each and expressed her confidence that UDA will form the next government.
Her statement comes following Raila Odinga's several trips in Mt Kenya region, recent one being in Nyeri County.
