President William Ruto has already started implementing various policies in the country. The fifth President nominated various leaders in different ministries yesterday. The cabinet that has caused various reactions reactions among Kenyans. The UDA leader failed to honour his promise of nominating 50% of cabinet to be women.
The President has been taken to court over his nomination yesterday. The man has filed a petition against President William Ruto's nomination of Japhet Koome to police inspector general post. The man has claimed that the process President William Ruto used in nominating Koome in the position of IG is unlawful and therefore wants the nomination to be cancelled.
Japhet Koome was nominated to fill the position of Inspector General Hillary Mutyambai who was out for health issues. Recently Mutyambai collapsed on his duty which forced him to hand over power to his deputy for weeks while on medical. His replacement by Japhet Koome has now been challenged by a Kenyan man.
